Birds of Prey
Birds of Prey is the title of a sequel comic book movie to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so it’s as good a reason as any to own this deluxe collector’s box set. It includes everything from the theatrical release of the film: the UltraHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray 4K, Blu-ray and DVD discs.
This one comes recommended for fans of the new sci-fi horror hit It Comes at Night.
Apocalypse Now was a highly influential film with a certain degree of contemporary resonance. That is not the case for enormously watchable and humanely rendered piece of sci-fi war and revenge fantasy.
The film has an impressive cast, including some of our favorite contemporary leading men, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Andy Serkis and the beautifully cast Amiah Miller.
I really don’t know what to say about this film other than to recommend that you buy this film when it comes out on Blu-ray and DVD. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is a sequel in the Jack Reacher franchise.
The film sees Tom Cruise return as Jack Reacher, the ex-military special forces operative.

5) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Why, they asked, would Disney add yet another Star Wars film to an already too-heavy schedule?
When Rogue One first came out, it surprised us all. Star Wars is no longer a brand new film franchise. These films have been a long time in the making, and many of us expected this to be a throwaway cash-grab sequel.
Instead, Rogue One provided a brilliant introduction to the franchise’s most divisive characters: the crew of the Rebels’ Death Star II-class Star Destroyer. Some fans (myself included) consider this film the best Star Wars film ever made, and would like nothing more than to have more. It doesn’t hurt that this film is visually dazzling, thanks to the work of director Gareth Edwards.

6) The Snowman
This isn’t necessarily a film that I would recommend all by itself, but a package deal with The Snowman definitely wouldn’t be a bad idea. The film is a stylish thriller with a bunch of over the top elements that serve as effective tone-setting .
The film is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and stars Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg .

7) Lucky Them
Everyone loves a good heist film, and this film has all of the best elements of those films. Set in a dystopian version of London, Lucky Them follows the on-again, off-again romance between two criminals (played by Kate Beckinsale and Ben Kingsley). It’s a decent movie with some solid performances and decent acting.
Unfortunately, the script is almost entirely forgettable. So when you need a good heist film, then maybe you should take the time to see this,

8) La La Land
Yes, this film is about a jazz pianist (Ryan Gosling) who falls in love with an actress (Emma Stone) who is trying to make it . But more importantly, it’s about two people who are simply very, very good at making music together.
La La Land is a musical in the vein of Singin’ in the Rain. But this film is a musical in the tradition of West Side Story and A Chorus Line, all about what it means to be an artist.
The story is about two people trying to make it , but it also asks big questions about art and creativity.
